    Submission guidelines

    Diamond Crime is exactly what it says, so we are only looking for spy, thriller, police procedural and detective novels.

    We only accept submissions electronically via email. Please include the following:

    • The completed MS (part written or uncompleted works will not be considered). Please send your MS in Word using 12 point font and in 1.5 or double spacing
    • A synopsis of the work that does not exceed 1,500 words
    • A covering email telling us about you and your work.

    Please don’t rush to send us a recently completed book. Set it aside for a couple of weeks and then re-read it to make sure you are really happy with it before submitting.

    We will send you an automated reply to acknowledge receipt of your work and will try and respond to your submission – either way – within six weeks.
