Mix in a small dose of frustration with previous publishers and you have the original recipe for Diamond Books Ltd, founded in 2021 at the height of the pandemic. The first imprint was Diamond Crime and four years later it has published 27 titles from 10 authors. The second imprint is Diamond Historical and its first 3 books were published in early 2024
Beyond the joy of publishing books for their authors, the Diamond Books team also tries to adapt them for other media outlets like television and feature films – using their knowledge of the marketplace to introduce their authors to commissioning editors and producers.
